Hi! Welcome to the JcrossC Photography website. I’m so glad you stopped by. Allow my to introduce myself.

I was born and raised here in Western Montana, surrounded by the beautify landscape of the Bitterroot Valley. I found photography in my youth and loved taking photos of people, animals and landscapes with my Polaroid camera, and later with my 35mm through the 4H program. 4H offered me the opportunity to learn and explore photography at a different level. Those years of experience led to one of my first jobs out of high school, working for a well- known portrait agency.

After graduation, I married my high school sweet heart. Their Army career transported us all across the globe. This offered many amazing photo opportunities. The frequent Permanent Change in Station (PCS) postponed my dream of a photography business. I however continued to explore photography as a no-fee hobby photographer, taking family and wedding photos during my family’s 20 years of service.

In 2019 my husband retired from active duty, and we made our final PCS back home to the Bitterroot Valley in Hamilton, MT. It was our longtime plan to raise our son back home, here in MT. This move created the golden opportunity to establish roots for JcrossC Photography. Today I offer the same services and more.

When not behind a camera, you can hear me at sporting events cheering my son and his team mates on, enjoying family time, or riding my horses throughout the Bitterroot National Forest.

I take great pride in my work and my ability to capture those sweet precious moments, expressions or experiences. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can be of service in fulfilling your photography needs.

JcrossC Photography represents a family brand, J+C.

In 1998, Christine and her then then-boyfriend, now spouse of 25 years, carved their names in the side of a tree the day before he departed for the Army.

I’d be honored to work with you.
